We are seeking a Design Manager to join our Creative Services department and contribute to our exceptional digital and retail creative teams. The Design Manager is responsible for leading the creative team in designing brand-right, effective digital and retail customer experiences.

Company Interfaces:
Reports to the Creative Director – Digital/Retail located in Sunderland, Vermont. This role will manage a team of designers.
Key Performance Measurement:
• Create best-in-class customer experiences for all digital properties that strengthen the brand and increase sales
• Ensure adherence to brand and style guidelines across all digital properties
• Mentor team to increase design competency and provide professional growth
General Responsibilities:
• Design the look and feel of the overall customer experience for all digital properties
• Lead the creation of visual guidelines for all digital properties and ensure that they are adhered to
• Develop templates for each digital property
• Assist in the creation of seasonal campaigns and key initiatives
• Assist in the training and demonstration of creative work to stakeholders
• Review work of each direct report to assure best-in-class presentations and alignment to business and customer insights
• Create photography guidelines for each digital property
• Communicate design/photo direction and changes to the digital design team
• Collaborate with UX and Content teams to create best-in-class work
• Collaborate with merchants and inventory on product presentations and allocation
• Design new and innovative ways to present product that increases the quality of the customer experience

Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Design field required
• 10+ years’ experience, in progressively increasing responsibilities, in a design organization
• Proven ability to design brand-right and effective digital customer experiences
• Proven ability to design for multiple platforms and devices
• Proven ability to develop visual guidelines that are appropriate for the brand
• Expert-level understanding of user experience design principles
• Expert-level ability using industry standard design tools
• Solid understanding of presentation layer technologies for the digital properties
• Solid understanding of the photography creation process
