Job Summary:
Assist the entire NYX HR team by providing administrative support for our corporate, supply chain, and retail. This position will gain exposure to all three areas of our HR department and will consist of HR duties across the entire organization’s population.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
-Assist with the full cycle recruitment process including scheduling, sourcing of resumes and phone screenings
-Work with HR Coordinator to attract undergraduate talent and plan recruitment events for the 2018 summer intern program
-Project manage onboarding for new hires across the entire organization
-Support the corporate intern population by conducting regular touch bases and coordinating intern networking events
-Keep employee files up to date by conducting regular audits of all HR related data and information to ensure accuracy and data integrity
-Assist with event planning for yearly HR initiatives such as Bring Your Child to Work Day and Volunteer Day
-Coordinate health and wellness activities for our employees such as yoga and assist with holiday events
-Support day-to-day administrative duties such as updating org charts and open position reports within NYX
Job Requirements:
-Candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
-Possess a 3.0 GPA or higher
-Prior internship or office experience
-Have excellent organizational skills, keen eye for attention to detail, and proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
-Possess strong verbal communication, writing and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to form strong cross-functional relationships
-Have demonstrated use of analytical skills and problem solving/critical thinking skills
-Possess cross cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence
-Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic and sense of confidentiality
-Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite of products including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook for email, calendar, contacts, scheduling and task management required
-Demonstrates ability to work in a fast paced environment with composure, as well as independently
This position is NON-EXEMPT under FLSA. This is a full-time opportunity at 40 hours per work and potential overtime paid in accordance with FLSA regulations after working 40 hours in a weekly period.
