Job Function
Performs any of the required functions in the Distribution Area to ensure that all daily requirements are met. These areas include but are not limited to: Inventory Control, Order Allocation, Shipping Clerk, Receiving Clerk, Reports, and Custom Documents.
Responsibilities
Systems Knowledge
• SAP
• WMS – knowledge of all daily used dialogs in Distribution
• Hazmat Application – process air, ground, ocean documents for hazardous shipments
Inventory Control
• Perform Supersedes
◦ Negative Inventory Report
◦ Compare Reports
◦ Suspense Reports
◦ Failed Transaction Report
◦ WMS Invoice vs. BOL upload differences
• Process and review cycle count discrepancies
• Bin Updates – out of stock and items on hold
• Process Discontinued & Supersede Items
Order Allocation
• Review orders in UALLOC and group according to internal and customer guidelines
• Review ERROR report to identify issue and determine resolution
• Print labels for grouped orders as required
• Monitor sortation availability
• Review priority listings as provided by International, Domestic and Special Events and process according to Distribution Management direction
Project Involvement
• Assigned to projects as required, which may include:
◦ Line balancing
◦ Data for analysis
◦ Update SOP’s
◦ Launch tracking
Shipment Documentation
• Preparation of all shipping documentation (Invoices, Customs Documentation, BOL, ASN, Waybills, Correspondence, GL Postings).
• Completion of Hazardous Goods transportation documentation.
• Lot verification Reports and updates
• Vendor Web Tendor
• Shipment/Vendor Routing understanding & Compliance
• Productivity Module Data Entry and analysis
Health and Safety
• Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
• Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
• Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs
• Participate in the establishment of annual EH&S objectives
Housekeeping
• Maintain clean work environment
• Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements
• Actively participate and support the Canadian Operations 5S Program
Qualifications
Education: Minimum Secondary School Diploma
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work related general warehouse experience in a high volume environment
Competencies: Must be familiar with all warehouse documentation (BOL, Customs Documentation, Packing Slips, Invoices, etc.). Experience with SAP an asset, Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
