We are currently looking for a:
Sr. Mobile Growth Specialist
Reporting to the Manager, Mobile Product, the Sr. Mobile Growth Specialist, will be responsible for defining and deploying Groupe Dynamite’s mobile growth strategy for both the Garage and Dynamite brands. The Sr. Mobile Growth Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the mobile app content and will participate in strategy development that will increase downloads, conversion and overall user engagement. The ultimate objective will be to grasp consumer behaviour trends and generate creative ideas that will reach app adoption and mobile revenue targets. The Sr. Mobile Growth Specialist combines technical knowledge of front-end web development with in-depth understanding of the online space and is passionate about digital marketing.
The ideal candidate will work closely with a cross-functional team and will bring business insights coming from a variety of sources such as user retention metrics, cohort analysis, GA, surveys, A/B testing, user tests, etc., and will ensure that the mobile app editorial calendar and feature roadmap are in line with the overall acquisition and retention strategy, the campaign goals and the mobile revenue targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for meeting mobile app performance indicators: number of downloads, MAUs (mobile active users), retention and revenue targets;
• Define engaging content approaches with channel-specific Marketing teammates (social, email, E-commerce, marketing, creative and CRM);
• Manage mobile creative campaigns by creating and/or adapting existing campaign assets in partnership with E-commerce and the Creative department;
• Work closely with E-commerce management team for day-to-day planning and prioritization of website updates and content initiatives (mobile push messaging, emails, etc.);
• Responsible for updating the mobile app CMS and developing engaging interactive interfaces and animation;
• Responsible for preparing content for mobile app pages comprised of lookbook templates as well as other marketing mobile content;
• QA and testing for compatibility with mobile phones and stores and optimizing content for mobile screens and app as necessary;
• Provide engagement and retention insights through cohort analysis diagnosing issues and opportunities for improvements (MAUs, decrease in downloads, time spent on app, daily sessions, new users, revenue, etc.);
• Analyze drop off points through funnel analysis to get clear picture of blockers, identify and communicate clear action points and next steps and follow through until resolution;
• Collaborate in market research using heatmaps, surveys, user tests to help find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends;
• Set up and run A/B tests using Optimizely and help build an experimental culture;
• Ensure that tests are up and running, and be willing and able to help product owner and E-commerce teams interpret results and present them to management without bias.
Qualifications and competencies:
• Undergraduate degree (90 credits) with a focus on Marketing, Finance or E-commerce preferred;
• 2-5 years of experience in Mobile commerce preferably in Retail;
• In-depth knowledge of website design practices, processes, and technologies;
• Experience with responsive/adaptive design and mobile apps;
• Experience in UX, usability and browser testing;
• Basic competency of SEO;
• Ability to understand mobile marketing data and summarize in meaningful way for business goals;
• Analytical, data-driven;
• Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills;
• Proven ability to work within a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills;
• Highly developed interpersonal team player;
• Proactive and solution oriented;
• Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities;
• Bilingual: French & English (written and spoken).
