About the role
An International Assistant Merchandiser role at Wallis promises a fast paced, challenging and innovative working environment. This highly analytical role is the ideal opportunity to further develop your proven Merchandising skills. Managing intake levels, analysing sales and stock data to optimise sales. You will play a crucial role in delivering the Wallis brand to our customers around the globe, working closely with both our franchise partners and our brand buying team.

What you’ll be doing…
You will be required to support the Merchandiser by analysing stock levels across different store types and countries, highlighting risks and opportunities for growth. Liaising with international partners, helping where possible with stock package issues. You will also be involved in managing store profiles alongside tiering and grading to help match stock packages to specific markets in order to maximize sales.
In this role it is essential you are well informed of the markets in which we trade. Keeping up to date on factors impacting sales, reviewing competition, keeping up to date with market trends which may influence our buying strategy.
As an International Assistant Merchandiser, you will also be looking after an MAA , contributing to their development and managing workload. This role brings with it autonomy, allowing you to manage specific projects, analysing information, and making recommendations.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need good administrative skills, including PC skills in Word and Excel. You will need to have the ability to manage changing priorities and work in a pressured environment. A strong numerical and analytical capacity is a must in this role, as well as being very well organized and accurate, with great attention to detail. You must be able to communicate with differently levels of seniority, identifying issues and proposing actions.
Use data tools to influence both trading and forward strategy
Help to manage and reforecast Market WSSI’s under guidance of Merchandiser.
Have excellent communication skills, dealing with different levels of management both internal and external.
Agree role responsibility including work plans and weekly agenda.
Manage, motivate and develop MAA.
Build close working relationships with different brand functions and Arcadia’s international division.
