JOB TITLE: Producer
REPORTING TO: Creative Director and Studio Manager
DEPARTMENT: Creative
PURPOSE OF ROLE
The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination for the entire production process including Ecommerce, Campaign, PR and Special Projects across all channels, including:
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and forward plan each season’s shoot requirements, photographic styles and critical paths associated with all shoots, including retouching.
• Manage the coordination of all digital photo shoots, ensuring digital shoot styling is in-line with the brand. On set direction where necessary.
• Post digital shoot- sense check all imagery is in line with brand.
• Liaise with the Production & Studio Manager to agree timescales and priorities for shoot production.
• Scout locations, source new photographers, stylists and models, in order to fulfil each creative brief.
• Produce and manage detailed budgets for each shoot and negotiate best rates.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with agencies.
• Ensure retouching time scales are met to make sure photography is accurate and fit for purpose at the appropriate time for each channel.
• Review rates and renegotiate where possible to achieve good rates for usage of Burton photography.
• Ensure all admin is accurate and up to date, including information from Buying teams for price, availability etc and making sure Buying teams are fully aware of which items are being shot for which end use.
• Raise purchase orders and match against invoices as required e.g. for shoots.
KEY SKILLS
• Solid eCommerce experience essential
• An understanding of lead times for retouch and print production processes in order to set critical paths.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levels, building strong working relationships.
• A good degree of commerciality.
• Ability to perform under pressure and operate in a fast paced environment, maintaining the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
• A drive to improve on current processes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexible approach and drive to use own initiative.
• Motivated, committed and driven and a desire to learn from others.
• Strong team player and ability to work well independently.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as well as Work and Excel.
