Purpose & Scope:
The Email Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing the email production, including liaising with creative, providing deliverables to the email service provider, linking strategy, testing and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall email calendar, using metrics to meet revenue and business needs
• Focus on email productivity (revenue, circulation) to plan and optimize, including segmentation and
message type
• Manage the email forecast to ensure that we are tracking to our goals and facilitate contingencies and
last minute changes
• Evaluate and execute weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and suggest other attributes to
analyze
• Work closely with the broader email team to analyze findings, identify trends and recommend a course
of action
• Project coordination for new triggers, special projects and transactional emails
• Recommend and execute testing strategies based on data-driven decisions including: A/B testing and
segmentation/targeting
• Stay current on best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email recommending new
methods, innovative ideas, and/or technologies to deliver on KPIs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years in email marketing with a strong track record of performance
marketing. A background in eCommerce is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to project manage several deliverables
• Ability to think strategically, work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Solid teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multiple
stakeholders
• Demonstrates strong analytical capability. Uses logical thought process to solve problems and has the
ability to clearly and concisely communicate insight and go forward plan
• Experience compiling, analyzing and tracking data to aid in decision making
• Fluency in Excel
• Previous experience with an ESP a plus
