Responsibilities:
*This is currently a temporary assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent position.*
Primary Role:
This role will provide support to the Design process in order to manage and maintain information in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system; ensuring details are entered with timeliness, consistency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Product Development, Raw Materials and Merchandising teams to ensure that the most up to date information is being entered into PLM
• Proactively request from key stakeholders any additional information (materials, colorways, candidates et c) that might be required to keep the PLM system updated
• Translate deck pages into group BOMs and create Group colorways
• Create style BOM from deck pages and specs
• Upload finished specs
• Update group and style BOM’s based on design review outcomes
• Assign/ update body classifications as needed
• Enter Master Specs into PLM system; clean up and upload images
• Manage carryover season to season
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of product life cycle; i.e. product development, production, merchandising, design, or tech design is a must
• Ability to read design specs is also required
• Must be organized, have strong collaboration, communication, and team management skills
• Some previous experience working in a PLM system
• Detail oriented with the ability to compare/ analyze information across groups to maintain and recognize where information should be aligned
• Strong team player with the flexibility to assist where needed across the team is strongly preferred
• BA or BS degree with 1-2 years experience as described above
