Responsibilities:
Kate Spade is looking for an experienced, hands-on analytics & reporting manager who can own the creation and maintenance of dashboards for the e-commerce team and beyond (i.e. crm team, social team, etc.). This person will also be responsible for analyzing website data and providing actionable insights. An ideal candidate will have experience using data visualization tools, tag managers, and be a Google Analytics expert. Candidates need to have a passion for data and be willing to work autonomously across different departments.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Create reports and dashboards to support business objectives and track key KPIs. Help interpret reports into meaningful business conclusions.
• Own the creation and maintenance of reports within our data visualization tool
• Maintain tag implementation to ensure quality. Liaise with IT partners and 3rd party vendors to create requirements, ensure testing is complete, and debug/troubleshoot issues.
• Provide day-to-day operational administration of web analytics and tag management tools
• Partner with internal and external partners to ensure proper tracking implementation and accurate reporting; Effectively work and communicate with ecommerce and IT teams to create business requirements, test implementations and continuously monitor data integrity
• Participate in online product and program development to ensure tracking and measurement of new products and establish baseline performance expectations
• Analyze website data on traffic patterns, order volume, conversion funnel, navigation behavior, and product selection. Identify successes, trends, and potential problem areas.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer specific questions from business leaders cross-divisionally
• Contribute to A/B multivariate testing plan of website content, features, and functionality
• Manage day-to-day relationships of all analytics vendors and partners
• Provide benchmarks for key metrics by analyzing third party data and industry research
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3-5 years experience with a web analytics tool, Google Analytics preferred; e-commerce experience at a recognized brand in retail/fashion field a plus
• Experience in the analysis of online marketing, sales and website behavior
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing a plus
• Experience with a data visualization tool, DOMO preferred
• Hands-on experience with tag management systems, Google Tag Manager preferred
• Experience with implementations of analytics platforms such as a web reporting tool and tag management software preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required, SQL skills a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously across different departments
• Must be a hands-on team member and operate with a start-up mentality to move the business forward; this means being resourceful, collaborative and a creative solution-seeker
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
