A BIT ABOUT
Operating at the heart of our business, Shared Services offer efficiencies to all of our Brands by providing centralised resources and competitive synergies for the Group. The Shared Services teams work across all Brands and are responsible for a huge range of activities from delivering product to over 30 countries worldwide, to achieving award winning store designs and handling 100,000 Customer Care calls each year. Within Shared Services there are over 1,000 employees working across 16 distinctive departments including IT, Finance, HR, Logistics, PR, Property, Digital and Purchasing.
THE ROLE
The Business Change function supports a number of projects currently underway within Arcadia. The key focus for the team is to ensure that the business is involved throughout a project lifecycle designing and building solutions which will enable us to run the business and deliver benefits. We ensure the business is engaged along the journey and when we land the change it can be accepted and bedded in successfully. A key factor in the success of this is being able to communicate simply and effectively to multiple audiences, ensuring that information is digestible and memorable.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• To support the Business Change team with graphics/design of project communications material - from briefing packs and emails to posters and desk drops
• To create branding/logos for new projects or workstreams
• To take on board the Arcadia handwriting and ensure copy is in keeping with the tone of voice
• To take copy heavy information and transform it into memorable key messages
• To create templates the team can use self-sufficiently
• To evolve look and feel of communications as required
• To work effectively with functions such as internal comms and central design
• To build a network of resources across the group to test comms approaches
MUST HAVES
• Graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative suite
• Creative, proactive and efficient with plenty of bright ideas and a flair for the digital arena but equally happy rolling up their sleeves to support our team in achieving its objectives
• A confident communicator with strong inter-personal skills and working knowledge of communication techniques across a variety of audiences
• Tech savvy and competent using IT across both Mac and Windows
• High standard of copy writing and editing skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to organise own work effectively, prioritise competing workloads and work to tight timescales
• Able to work calmly under pressure and on own initiative and will be equally efficient operating within a team
• And finally but arguably most importantly – a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude!
