PLM Assistant – Design (DFO/DFE)

Responsibilities:
Support Design process to manage and maintain information in PLM ensuring details are entered with timeliness, consistency and attention to detail.
*This is currently a temporary assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent position.*
Job responsibilities
• Partner with PD, the RM team, design and merchandising to ensure that the most up to date information is being entered into the PLM application
• Proactively communicate to partners when additional information (materials, colorways, candidates etc) needs to be added into PLM
• Manage the creation and updating of group BOMs and style BOMs
◦ Based on FDR/sketch outcomes
◦ Post market
• Offer creative solutions to improve process as we continue working in the PLM application
Qualifications:
• Must have 1-2 years of experience in product development, production, merchandising, design or tech design
• Must have previous experience working in a PLM system
• Able to facilitate the work flow between merchandising, design, and production.
• Must be able to understand cross functional process and calendar
• Must be organized, have strong partnership, communication, and team management skills
• Detail oriented
• Be a patient and positive thinker. These responsibilities will evolve as we start to work in PLM- so flexibility is important!
