As a critical part of the Hollister Brand Strategy team, the Senior Brand Manager of Marketing Activation ensures that the brand identity, brand positioning and communications strategies are successfully executed across consumer-facing touch points (including stores, e-commerce, email, social, events, and others). This individual partners directly with cross-functional groups (Marketing Operations, Creative, Customer Insights, Paid/Social Media, CRM, Public Relations, Store Operations, Product and others) to ensure project completion aligns with timing, budget, and branding initiatives. Utilizing a deep knowledge of the retail and customer landscape, the successful candidate will help to shape and guide campaigns, and will be responsible for effectively bringing them to life.
Responsibilities
• Lead the activation of brand and seasonal campaigns, acting as hub of all cross-functional marketing disciplines
• Draft tactical briefs and deliver briefing presentations to engage marketing team and partners on execution of marketing campaigns
• Review all creative assets to ensure strategy is coming through appropriately
• Drive seamless cross-functional alignment of in-market brand initiatives and programs, ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget
• Strategically advise stakeholders/teams on best practices and solutions
• Execute in-store and experiential events that deliver on clear business objectives, including management of internal partners and external vendors
• Develop clear, measureable KPIs for all tactics and actively manage against them as activated
• Audit brand initiatives against business and communications objectives, developing and presenting hindsight presentations to Marketing and Brand leadership, including C-level management
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Business or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Marketing/Advertising, preferably for large, international lifestyle brands and/or creative agency
• 2+ years of experience event production experience highly preferred
• Experience with global fashion retail brand(s) preferred
• Demonstrated understanding of Gen Z consumers
• High level of critical thinking ability and curiosity, particularly in balancing multiple projects and priorities
• Collaborative leader, able to rally cross-functional team members to work effectively and efficiently together
• Independent thinker; resourceful approach to getting things done
• Strong project management skills (including timeline development/management, budget)
• Strong relationship development/management and written/verbal communication skills
• High familiarity with integrated marketing disciplines (advertising, media, content, social, digital/e-comm, direct, CRM, PR, activation/events, in-store, etc.)
• Consistent engagement with marketing industry and its best practices (e.g. industry media, involvement in industry organizations/events, awareness of industry trends)
• Superb presentation skills and comfortable ideating/presenting ideas with all levels of an organization (up to/including C-level)
