The Marketing Manager, Haircare is responsible for growth and development of L’Oréal Professionnel Haircare brands in the US market. The Manager will propose and implement brand/product strategy and promotional calendar, by implementing and evaluating new product launches and managing the existing product portfolio to achieve brand goals and objectives. The Manager serves as lead throughout the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including all promotional activities and product launches. The Manager must monitor and analyze business results in order to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution. They must be skilled in creating promotions and analyzing their effect on the overall business. This position requires effective interaction with departments such as: sales, finance, education, public relations, digital, social, creative, sales administration, global marketing and senior management.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field.
MBA preferred.
3-5 years brand management experience, preferably in the beauty industry.
Experience working on a premium/prestige/luxury product.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to create and deliver high impact presentations.
Superb analytical skills.
Excellent written/oral communication skills
Budget management and forecasting experience. Merchandising display experience a plus.
Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills.
Ability to travel domestically periodically (max. 15%).
Language skills a plus.
Judgment and Decision Making:
An ideal candidate would be able to work autonomously to complete projects and assignments as well as work cross functionally to achieve short and long-term brand objectives and the candidate should be able to regularly update their supervisor and senior management on business analyses and promotional results. Training and supervision will be provided by category head and through corporate training initiatives to foster continued career growth and development.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

1. Execution and development of clear brand building plans in line with the objectives of the division including 3 year marketing plan, new product launches, promotions and communication strategy.

1. Interface with distributors, key salons, and stylists for understanding of market trends and competitor activities.

1. Manage forecasts, brand P&L, stock inventory for promotional activities and product launches.

1. Prepare and deliver presentations for key meetings and senior management.

1. Conduct marketing research, follow up on campaigns and launches, provide Senior Management team with regular quantitative and qualitative reports.
