Seeking a graphic designer to support the breadth of design projects and execution across the brand.
Reporting to the brand's heads of Marketing, the position requires an ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines on a broad range of design projects from print to web, including trade show signage, email blast, posters, flyers, brochures, sell sheets, labels, point of purchase and other marketing materials. Experienced in a MAC environment, the graphic designer will work on individual and team assignments within the Global and US Marketing Department.
Major Accountabilities
• Partner with Marketing Team in developing packaging design and artwork, merchandising, display, sales promotion, and education and training materials.
• Designs collateral materials, and provides general production assistance to support the brand by managing all aspects of a given project from concept through completion.
• Responsible for all graphic art and packaging design, product lines and promotional materials.
• Implement technological changes to increase the functionality of in-house creative services.
• Maintain the overall visual corporate identity of the brand.
• Research and gather 'competitive' creative concepts and ideas.
• Participate in strategic planning for Trade Shows as well as other corporate events, meetings and product launches.
• Manage outside vendors when necessary, including briefing, quality control, timing and budgeting.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree and / or comparable graphic design work experience.
• Five years minimum experience in a fast-paced, consumer products graphics department.
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational, trafficking and communication skills.
• Must have extensive knowledge of InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator in Mac environment. Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver experience a plus.
• Pre-press production experience a must.
• Good understanding of 2-D and 3-D process as it relates to packaging development and promotional materials.
• Must be able to work well independently or within a team.
