Description
Principal Objective:
A Director, Creative Operations at La Mer manages global marketing & advertising programs from beginning to end, encompassing Print Advertisement, Video Production, Digital & Social Media activations. A Creative Operations person at La Mer is a problem solvers that know every detail of a project, from a strategic standpoint to the small details of project management: timeline, meetings, budget.
Accountability:
• Manage interdisciplinary teams of print, digital designers and copywriters to evolve innovative creative concepts into clear sets of deliverables to be deployed to local markets
• Define the scope of projects (objectives, strategy, deliverables, schedule, and budget
• Oversee each phase of the internal and external approval process: including the approval of concepts, copy, layouts, final artwork, retouching, proofs and printed samples.
• Serve as primary Marketing & Global Communications point of contact, defining the project vision and managing expectations
• Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes
• Allocate resources weekly and working in coordination with other producers in prioritizing projects
• Lead meetings and conference calls, and effectively set up the presentation of creative work
• Communicate project issues and resolution to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
• 9+ years’ experience as an interactive o integrated producer or directly related experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Prior experience working on Campaign Projects (either Broadcast and/or Digital and/or Print)
• Has experience using MS Project to develop project plans and/or familiarity with equivalent tools
• Has experience with Basecamp/Asana/10.000 FT or equivalent tools
• Is a partner to creative rather than its police
• Has a flexible attitude and can work in ambiguous situations
• Knows how to develop contracts and Statements of Work
• Is used to being the point person for internal or external clients
• Has advertising agency experience
• Has outstanding written and presentation skills
• Loves solving problems and managing conflicts
• Is comfortable managing technical/functional complex work. Prior experience managing Campaign Projects (Broadcast, Digital, Print)
• Agile Methodology experience is a plus
