There is an immediate opening for a Digital Creative Senior Designer. This role will develop, organize and execute creative storytelling and brand content for our ecommerce sites, and digital touch points such as social media and digital advertising.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop editorial merchandising stories starting from seasonal design set-rooms, and create strategies for timely and brand effective product and editorial content for ecommerce and digital platforms. Write, ideate and extract concepts from seasonal merchandise design set-rooms, ideas from inspiration trips, and work closely with the creative teams to fully develop ideas and execute them across ecommerce and digital touchpoints. Bring our product stories to life through strategic, well-executed storytelling that drives sales and increases brand awareness.
• Manage product storytelling/creative content strategy and asset production under senior creative team for all websites and electronic communications properties, including email blasts, mobile, blog, social media and digital video.
• Manage the content calendar to coordinate the flow and execution of the ecommerce/digital editorial ecosystem.
• Provide daily ecommerce studio direction working with photographer, stylist and models. Approve overall direction of each shoot day, under guidance of senior creative team. Edit daily contact sheets with photographer and provide selects and daily feedback. Work with senior creative team and photographer in curating outside talent.
• Provide direction in ideating and executing editorial concepts with the in-house studio and e-commerce merchandising teams.
• Work in collaboration on a daily basis with PR, merchandising, licensing teams to ensure assets are created and appropriated as needed.
• Recognize internal and external brand voices, understand consumer facing and overall brand goals as a filter for ecommerce and digital development and creative execution.
SKILLS:
• UI/UX Experience designing for digital platforms, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to concept, manage and execute editorial features, blogs and news articles.
• Business sensibility and proven experience in ecommerce and social media's
