Purpose
The eMail Marketing Manager is responsible for leading our direct to consumer email marketing strategy; including development of our extensive, dynamic and high-performing email marketing program. You will work with internal and external stakeholders along with creative resources to create a consumer-focused approach to digital marketing communications.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop and drive overall email marketing strategy. Develop short- and long-term channel roadmaps based on brand and channel strategy. Drive alignment with other marketing channels.
• Collaborate and advocate with key stakeholders across the organization both locally and globally for market, email, and Direct to Consumer needs. Drive alignment and synergies.
• Responsible for channel financial and performance targets. Collaborate across the organization to maximize channel performance and drive improvements.
• Manage relationships with key internal partners, including Global Digital Brand Commerce, Brand Activation, and Business Unit relationships. Serve as primary point of contact for email marketing channel.
• Collaborate with CRM, ecommerce and retail marketing on customer acquisition initiatives, email strategy, and targeting to ensure cross-channel alignment and optimal consumer experience.
• Manage email calendar and identify key opportunities to maximize revenue potential and align with brand objectives.
• Develop and oversee continuous email testing plans to improve KPIs.
• Collaborate with CRM/marketing analysts on email reporting and analysis. Leverage data to optimize future emails.
• Collaborate with Direct to Consumer merchandising team to activate on opportunities to drive product sell-through and achieve financial goals.
• Responsible for creating omni-channel email programs based on customer development and lifecycle campaign designs. Partner with local CRM, global CRM, and Brand marketing teams to understand and delivery against program briefs.

• Demonstrated strong and effective project management skills, including ability to lead and direct outside resources.
• Strong brand understanding and ability to deliver a premium consumer experience.
• Creative and conceptual thinker able to develop innovative solutions to problems and leading-edge design. Brings an editorial experience and point-of-view.
• Forward thinking, innovative mind-set.
• Strong understanding of direct-to-consumer business, eCommerce/Retail, competitive/business environment, and consumer behavior.
• Strong collaborator with proven ability to partner and influence. Ability to work with various teams, personalities, and disciplines around a common vision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines.
• Understands and embraces opportunities to work with a cross functional team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong and flexible personality, to build relationships.
• People management experience preferred but not required.
Requisite Education and Experience
1. Minimum 3 years of email marketing or CRM experience including planning and execution, preferably with a sporting or consumer goods company or equivalent program management experience.
2. Bachelor's degree plus a minimum 3 years related experience.
3. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
