We are currently looking for a:
Marketing Specialist (maternity leave replacement)
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing for Garage, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing various marketing activities and providing support to the Marketing department. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for organizing, coordinating and preparing all marketing activities for store openings, events, sponsorship opportunities, loyalty initiatives, integrated marketing campaigns, and for supporting the marketing team on various projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Actively participates in the development of seasonal campaigns for the Garage brand;
• Partners with the Marketing Coordinator to manage the production and shipment of all seasonal marketing materials;
• Develops and executes marketing tactics to support in-store traffic and sales;
• Develops the store opening plan for all new and renovated store openings in Canada and the USA;
• Collaborates with the Marketing Coordinator on all store openings, events and advertising campaigns associated;
• Assists the Marketing Manager in developing and executing all Loyalty Program initiatives;
• Manages all sponsorships for the brand, including new initiatives and existing partnerships;
• Responsible for maintaining the marketing budget and reporting monthly variances;
• Supports various marketing projects and participates in team brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications and competencies:
• Undergraduate degree in Commerce;
• At least two years experience in a similar role;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of digital marketing and/or CRM marketing an asset;
• Detail-oriented;
• Ability to work well under pressure;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Passion for branding and a creative mind;
• Work well with little supervision;
• Bilingual: French & English (written and spoken).
