Purpose:
Responsible for the execution of purchasing operational tasks. Notably production forecast processing; buy plan execution and PO placement which are related to Western Europe Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase the consolidated European sales forecast and order demand creating a feasible supply plan to optimize availability at the DC.
• Pro-actively resolve any priority conflicts.
• Execute against the supply plan considering capacity constraints, purchase order management and optimize inventory management for finished goods to control stock turn.
• Develop operational reports and run reports to support measurement of key performance indicators.
• Support process changes to ensure business performance in line with agreed targets.
• Interface with areas regarding sales planning and drive regional forecast consolidation.
• Conduct purchase order management and supply performance activities; track purchase orders confirmations
• Conduct activities around purchase orders status, prioritization setting, transportation mode changes and distribution from tier 1 factories and interface with GSP/Sourcing/CSD to optimize supply availability to meet retail intro dates
• Support new system user acceptance testing

• Good analytical skill and problem solving skills
• Ability to understand supply chain issues and drive solutions.
• Ability to effectively communicate (both written & verbal) and to lead discussions and give presentations in small and large groups.
• Strong team player with the ability to work with diverse groups of people in a productive manner.
• Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects under a deadline.
• Good knowledge of standard software applications (Excel, Access) and SAP
• Fluent in English (written and oral)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• College or university degree with a focus on Logistics or a related field; or comparable experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
• Industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), and SAP.
