The Studio Production Assistant reports to the Art Director and supports the Digital Content teams. This role is responsible for providing support all company photoshoots, including but not limited to: studio and marketing calendar management, photo shoot production, creative asset management, and more.
Duties:
• Manage overall operations for Dutch LLC photo studios.
• Order studio supplies and manage supply budget, invoice coding, submission, accruals and follow up.
• Assist on-set at all photo shoots, managing and maintaining sample log and staying on top of sample returns, and coordinating any production details.
• Manage all pre-shoot run-throughs. Partner with Design, PR, Domestic and International Wholesale and DTC teams to manage the sample process for all photoshoots to ensure key styles are represented on set for respective shoots. Work with stylist where applicable to make sure all sample needs are met.
• Coordinate and record the looks shot on set. Create and distribute Image Style Sheets for all shoots.
• Maintain studio and photographer calendars and operate as liaison for all departments as primary contact for booking studio/photographer time.
• Identify areas of improvement throughout the companies sample process.
• Image management, tagging, saving and organization.
• Partner with Marketing Assistant to ensure all shoots are also marked on the brand marketing calendars.
• Have a dotted line reporting into and assisting with projects assigned by the digital content management team.
• Assist with any basic administrative needs of the department including but not limited to expenses, travel booking, coordination of permits/insurance, etc.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Demonstrated oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Extremely detailed, project and results oriented.
• Ability to effectively partner with others as necessary.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) a plus.
