L'OREAL TRAVEL RETAIL AMERICAS operates in a unique distribution channel covering point of sales such as Airports, Airlines, Cruise ships, border stores, downtown duty free stores.
We are currently seeking a driven, passionate, and analytical Engineer to join the Distribution Center team in Miramar, FL. This is a full time position starting immediately for the next 10 months.

JOB PROFILE:
• This is not a management role. This is an entry level internship position
• Industrial or systems engineering degree required
• 1-3 years of experience
• Effective oral/written communicator in English (Spanish is preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Must have a positive attitude
• Strong team player
• Ability to manage complexity
• Must be a self-starter with strong entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with SAP and Optricity a major plus
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
• Report to Distribution Center Site Director
• Execute Optricity Slotting Project
• Create Dynamic Operations Dashboard
• Lead expiry date/FEFO program
• Create Integrated Operations Planning Tool
• Create KPI follow up tools
• Support Operations Team on improvement plans
• Limited support on other projects and communication
• Proactively highlight opportunities for process improvement
COMPENSATION
• Compensated on a monthly basis
• Hourly rate
• Health insurance (eligible to enroll the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment)
• Paid vacation days + sick days + personal days (prorated depending on start date)
