We are looking for a Director, Docker’s Global Brand Marketing. This individual will lead development and delivery of equity building, highly engaging & innovative Global brand communications that support global objectives and ultimately build the brand. This role is primarily Global, with heavy influence across the regions, specifically in the US.
Key Results:
• Global marketing strategies that support delivery of the AFP
• Global marketing plans and programs that drive positive ROI and equity growth
• Category-leading campaign and seasonal assets that resonate globally
• Strong global POV to inform regional plans & programs
• Impactful program templates that guide regional development and ensure One Global Brand
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead creation of annual Global Marketing Plan; Partner with regions and US functions (consumer marketing, publicity, social and digital teams) to deliver AFP*
• Develop all global creative/communications in conjunction with variety of agency partners and internal Creative Services group – Annual campaign iterations across communication platforms, seasonal communications, On-Floor Updates (inclusive of packaging and BE)*
• Partner closely with Design and Merch to identify global seasonal focus and ensure ongoing cross-functional integration across global teams*
• Drive optimized partnerships to deliver best-in-class work:
◦ Global Operations to drive Marketing GTM, continuously striving for process improvement *
◦ Across marketing (Customer, PR, Digital) to ensure powerful 3600 program approach
◦ Lead effective partnerships with BE & Creative Services to ensure output delivers against brand challenges and opportunities.
◦ Partner with Marketplace Insights and Commercial Org to deliver ongoing assessments with actionable insights
• Be the global brand advocate to ensure Dockers DNA reflected in all work and One Brand represented in the marketplace
• Influence global & regional A&P investment to engage and drive sales. Must monitor and react fluidly, embrace and respond to contingency plan as needed.
• Manage globally minded team; Implement rigorous development plans
• Influence and drive a consumer and competitor-obsessed culture
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Brand Marketing for Category-leading brand
• Proven track record in campaign development from brief through creative development to execution, Agency management, Budget management
• Must write compelling creative briefs and be able to drive creative development across a mix of agencies
• Retail experience desired;wholesale + retail experience a plus, contract negotiation, people management
• Strong collaborator, Solution-orientated, Effective communicator – both verbal & written,
• Leader among peers
• Inspiring presenter must be able to represent Global POV and influence decision making.
