Description
The VP Corporate Sales leads 4 related, yet separate business segments: (retail sales comprised of Cosmetic Company Stores and Employee Stores, Alternate Sales, Real Estate and Charitable contributions).
The business is primarily based on management of excess and returned inventory from all ELC brands and re-directing this product to the appropriate business segment. The role develops and implements the strategic plan and leads a team of 8 Corporate employees and 737 Retail Sales (Field Leadership and POS staff) and has matrixed responsibility for retail sales based internationally.
Strategy:
*Develops and implements strategy for the various business segments to ensure revenue, inventory management and growth of Corporate Sales business.
*Develop and implement Global Real Estate Strategy in partnership with local region and affiliate business leaders.
*Lead Excess Inventory and Reverse Logistics Inventory process globally to determine most profitable segment to ensure proper allocation of inventory and maximizing revenues.
*Develop and implement global real estate strategy ensuring appropriate growth of retail channels globally.
*Lead/oversee development of North America marketing and merchandising strategy.
*Review and recommend appropriate alignment with ELC Corporate resources (Supply chain, planning, store construction & maintenance)
Revenue and Budget:
*Determine annual strategy for both Cosmetics Company Stores and Employee Stores ensuring achievement of revenue and budget.
*Oversee Excess Inventory and Reverse Logistics Inventory processes to ensure all available inventory provides maximum profitability.
*Ensure warehouse sales in US/Canada meet or exceed revenue annually.
*Manage and align global capital budget in line with Real Estate Strategy.
*Ensure Vendor, Warehouse Sales and Charitable contributions programs are managed for maximum profitability.
Global Real Estate:
*Identify, build and develop global real estate strategy. establishing partnerships with retail developers.
*Negotiate new site development/renewal leases in partnership with internal and external real estate experts as well as Affiliate GM.
*Partner with Store Design to plan store construction/design plan to developer.
*Manage and oversee global capital budget.
*Establish strong relationships with retail developers and new malls/retail centers.
Leadership:
*Lead, develop and oversee 745 Corporate Sales Employees.
*Set and establish annual goals and Performance Development Plan for all Corporate Sales Employees.
*Conduct annual Succession and Talent Planning processes.
Qualifications
• 15 plus years sales and general management experience
• Deep experience and understanding of inventory management and retail sales with outlet experience a plus
*Ability to successfully collaborate with key stakeholders in brands, geographies and functions
*Proven track record of developing and executing business strategy to drive short and long term profitable growth
*Strong negotiation skills in order to effectively work with mall developers and realtors
