The Manager, Visual & Merchandising markets the image and products of Holt Renfrew through in-store and window presentations that create excitement, theater, and a desire to purchase the product.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Lead, motivate, and retain a team of high performing employees
• Continuously recruit, select, hire and on-board the best talent
• Communicate performance goals to employees and provide coaching to behaviors that help achieve those goals
• Recognize and reward extraordinary performance; give feedback and develop performance improvement plans for underperforming employees
• Manage the visual presentation budgets
• Source visual materials, props, and supplies; maintain and organize props, studio, and mannequins
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and are fully understood by store staff
• Ensure completion of visuals, signage, rotation of merchandise, set-up of events
• Ensure proper accounting and tracking of merchandise used in visual presentations
• Partner with store leadership team to determine departments or products needing visual boost
• Align visual presentations with overall marketing direction to maximize corporate theme representation
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
The ideal candidate:
• Fine Arts training and/or related Design School diploma
• 2 years supervisory experience in a similar capacity
• Minimum 5 years of Visual Presentation in Retail
