Marketing and Communications manages and builds the reputation of Burberry, creating authentic and engaging connections with our external and internal communities, through inspiring brand and business stories across bought, earned and owned media. The Marketing Coordinator will support the bought media function in the Americas region with the strategy, development and execution of local and national media activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with Senior Manager to develop strategies for all bought media channels including print, digital display (programmatic and direct), mobile, paid social, paid search, affiliate, out-of-home, TV and emerging media technologies.
• Integrate offline and online channels creating through-the-funnel and streamlined media communications, that deliver against both long and short term goals (against revenue and brand favorability).
• Collaborate with external wholesale and media partners to organize and activate digital and social media initiatives
• Liaise with external media agency to ensure flawless execution across all phases of planning and execution, pre- and post- campaign launch.
• Partner with engagement marketing team to ensure key products and messages are supported sufficiently via bought media creative.
• Develop creative project briefs across bought media channels, liaising with creative assets provider (TAG) and Corporate Marketing to ensure accurate and timely traffic/delivery of campaign materials for all vehicles.
• Compile specific reports utilizing data from analytics tools and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Create recaps of media activations surrounding major seasonal initiatives/launches
• Partner with Accounting and media agency to manage billing process. Closely track and reconcile media budget.
• Seek out, share and report on new digital marketing and media opportunities through research and industry/competitor analysis
• Help manage mall lease required advertising obligations
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Interests in fashion, technology, media and pop culture
• Previous luxury marketing experience a plus (brand or agency side)
• Multi-national experience a plus
• Familiarity and/or experience with traditional media and digital media.
• Familiarity with performance media a plus (including programmatic, affiliate and paid search)
• Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork and relationship building skills
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Budget management skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow through across all projects
• Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Keynote
