GENERAL FUNCTION The Territory Director is a leader within the Pearle organization, delivering the brand promise and organizations key results through effective management of associates and resources. The Director serves as a strategic partner to focus and influence sales, product and profitability to protect and enhance the Pearle brand image. Specifically, the Territory Director delivers Pearle key results, modeling the cultural beliefs and sales behaviors of the brand, developing a team of high potential associates that consistently exceed customer expectations, and aligning store and regional execution to brand strategies.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Delivers the desired results of the organization for large geographic area.
• Leads a culture of alignment in designated region to the vision, mission, and brand promise. Ensures consistency with Pearle brand and operating standards.
• Demonstrates excellence to identify, assess, calibrate, and develop brand talent at the store level to fill all current and future needs (Retail and Doctor).
• Models and coaches Luxottica Characteristics and NECE sales behaviors to drive store results.
• Ensures stores deliver the brand experience consistently to each customer.
• Meets operating and brand standards (KPIs, labor, shrink, cost control).
• Leads OD business partnership, influences selection and renewal process.
• Serves as liaison to the Cincinnati Service Center on process, opportunities, and procedures.
• Supports the implementation of new business development initiatives.
• Builds strategic execution plans with measures and disciplined time lines.
• Ensures all operating and HR policies and procedures are followed.
• Establishes a culture that embraces diversity and maximizes the learnings from a diverse team.
• Manages 30-35 retail locations across mulitple states and/or timezones.
• Manages business operations valued at more than $10M.
• Develops and supports corporate store systems for purpose of testing, training and supporting Franchise operating system.
• Reads and interprets operational P&L statements then adjust actions to maintain profitability.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years management experience
• 5+ years experience in multi-unit retail environment
• Solid track record as accomplished business leader
• Strong talent management skills (recruit, interview, select, develop, calibrate)
• Sound judgment, problem solving skills, and decision making
• Excellent leadership, coaching and development skills
• Team amanagement and organization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to drive for results while actiung with integrity
• Ability to provide virtual leadership as needed
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience as a multi-unit operator in optical retail environment
• 10+ years of multi-unit experience
