Manager- Shopper Marketing (MCB)
Definition of Role:
• Key internally facing figure and project manager in supporting the account lead on displays and 360 initiatives
• Key owner of display execution and DPM input and on-going DPM project maintenance
• Support source for field sales team on display execution, POS materials, sample distribution
Roles and Responsibilities:
• MCB Brands include SoftSheen-Carson, Carol’s Daughter and Dessange
• Drive all operational, account specific point-of-sale execution
• Account Specific Coupon Generation
• Display Execution (DPM, ESKO, etc.) and reconciliation
• DPM Account Specific Entry
• Account Specific Display Brief
• SharePoint/project management
• Be the internal support role, freeing up SM Account Lead to focus externally
• Manage execution of creative
• Manage execution of POS artwork
• Support Shopper Marketing Account Lead with account planning and 360 initiatives
• 360 degree account planning
• Display Budgets/ allocations
• Account Planning
• Necessary meeting participation
• Display Alignment Meeting –CPR
• Account Meeting Prep and Logistics (for internal and external account meetings)
• Creative Brief Meetings
Travel Requirement:
Travel required (20%)
Recommended Skillset:
• Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related business field
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in CPG industry and shopper marketing, customer marketing, brand marketing, or sales functions
• Potential rotation for internal marketer looking to transition into sales
• Strong working knowledge of retail environment intricacies are critical (Food, Drug & Mass retailers preferred)
• Experience in developing and executing Shopper Marketing programming, including point of sale execution, store displays, coupons, etc.
• Demonstrated project management skills and track record of hitting deliverables
• • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work-environment
• • Capable of managing multiple projects and interacting across various cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Creative, etc.)
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Performance Indicators:
• On-time completion and delivery of POS materials
• Timeline management
• Budget management
