L’Oreal USA is looking for an entrepreneurial marketing enthusiast to join the Marketing Procurement team as a Senior Manager of Digital. This is an exciting growth opportunity to work in a dynamic market for the number one beauty company in the world dedicated to making beauty accessible worldwide.
Job Responsibilities:
As the Senior Manager for Digital Marketing Procurement, you will be responsible for supporting the Digital Marketing category, specifically related to content creation (owned & paid) and beauty influencers. This high visibility role will report into the Director of Digital Marketing Procurement. This role will partner with the CMO Omnimedia team to understand strategic media relationships in the marketplace for L’Oreal USA, and look for opportunities to optimize content creation costs across the company. This role will also work very closely with the L’Oreal USA brand teams to support key digital initiatives, and will support analysis of data and spend to support strategic initiatives. In this role, you will develop, provide and implement sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships, practicing formalized sourcing best practices and abiding by standards and procedures. This position is responsible for supporting all L’Oreal USA best practices in purchasing, creating efficiencies in partnerships and capabilities within the business, identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives while improving the quality of our supplier/agency base to optimizing performance.
Understanding of the media marketplace, content creation, and the digital ecosystem is a MUST. Experience in negotiation of talent and/or influencers, a PLUS.

Roles & Responsibilities
Manage Digital Content and Marketing Categories
• Support implementation of global Digital Strategy
Develop purchasing projects and define objectives, resources, timelines, scope, and supplier selection criteria
Identify and support strategic partnership initiatives with existing and new services organizations
Consolidate & Manage L’Oreal USA Digital Spend, Investments & Initiatives
Identify L’Oreal USA stakeholders needs, market trends & innovations and develop strategic initiatives to support them
Co-own the L’Oreal USA Digital Agency relationships with internal stakeholders
Onboard Local Agencies and Consolidate L’Oreal USA evaluation / KPIs
Benchmark with best in class suppliers on the local market
Manage project-based digital negotiations and contracts
Partner with L’Oreal USA marketing teams on their key projects
Identify year over year initiatives (savings, process, etc.) and develop a roadmap for implementation
Execute key spot buying initiatives in support of a division or brand to develop partnership short-lists
Optimize & Measure
• Identify leverages on the L’Oreal USA Digital Category
Challenge L’Oreal USA Scope of Work
Support negotiations & coordinate regional RFPs + local implementation
Optimize processes and simplify administrative tasks
Identify opportunities for partnerships and cost savings initiatives through content creation ecosystem
Analyze the Trend, Budget and Financial reports for the L’Oreal USA Digital Category
Apply L’Oreal global WW saving methodology and validate with Finance team
Propose, consolidate, and report Digital KPIs for content creation across all agency and influencer partners
Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
6-7 years preferably within a Digital Agency, Digital Consulting, or within a brand Marketing Procurement team
Digital Market knowledge a big plus
Experience in the Beauty/Fashion industry a big plus
Strong negotiation & analytical skills and the ability to influence
Strong Project Management and interpersonal communication & presentation skills
Team player and a self-starter; curious and out-of-the-box thinking able to work in a fast-paced environment
