About the Role
Stitch Fix is looking for an experienced Product Development leader with Sourcing, Production, and Supply Chain expertise to support our growing and evolving Women's Exclusive Brands business. A key member of the Sourcing leadership team, you will develop and lead the execution of the Exclusive Brands sourcing strategies to meet the needs of our clients while simultaneously delivering on financial goals and objectives across all apparel categories and size extensions.
As part of the Sourcing Team, the Product Development & Production Leader will work closely with their Buying, Planning and Analytics counterparts to assess product needs and aesthetics on a continuous calendar for the Exclusive Brands team. You will be responsible for developing a product strategy that encompasses all supplier capabilities to ensure a seamless, innovative and client centric product lifecycle. You are a strategic product leader who has built and developed brands and are a master of raw materials and garment construction. • Build a women's sourcing strategy across all categories and global suppliers
• Develop and maintain a network of suppliers through partnership with the Director of Vendor Relations and Director of Technical Design
• Determine appropriate team structure in support of a diversified product offering, lead-times and supplier capabilities with a client-centric approach
• Lead the Exclusive Brands development direction with a strong aesthetic POV and consideration of client preferences, current market trends, raw materials, quality, construction and fit intent
• Develop vendor strategies to achieve IMU goals and costing targets
• Inspire, train and develop a team of Bright, Kind and Goal-Oriented individuals

• You have a Bachelor's degree, with 15+ years of progressively increased responsibility in a production/product development role
• You are a confident leader with a pioneering spirit who has experience inspiring, coaching and managing others

• You have an expert understanding of garment construction and raw materials
• You understand fabric platforming, capacity planning and trade agreements along with COO opportunities and risks

• You are excited to dive deep into data and use client feedback to drive product decisions
• You have superior written and verbal communication skills

• You are able to work out of our San Francisco office and travel up to 20% of the time
