Job Description: Director, Digital Marketing and User Experience
This role will be the key leader in developing and implementing the digital marketing and online user experience strategy across all Dutch ecommerce properties, including joie.com, equipmentfr.com and currentelliott.com. Through partnerships with the local marketing leaders, this role will enable our vision of Global storytelling that locally inspires customers. This leader oversees both Digital Marketing, and Site Content, and Social Media, while also partnering very closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, and Retail leadership.
Responsibilities:
• Support team on campaign prioritization and calendaring, capacity planning, and strategic roadmap
• Build digital marketing strategy for all Dutch brands. Drive objectives of brand awareness, acquisition, engagement, and revenue through digital media investments.
• Manage media agency roster and substantial media budget to drive marketing and financial objectives and maximize ROI.
• Oversee content messaging that the brands deliver to their customers; oversee email and digital marketing calendar, create alignment messaging in store and through digital efforts.
• Manage multiple performance marketing channels (paid search, SEO, affiliates, email, paid social) and optimize investment between them to drive revenue in support of ecommerce business. Drive LTV analyses and other metrics that determine ROI of spend.
• Work effectively with partners across the business including ecommerce, stores, creative, marketing, technology, etc. to drive digital agenda forward.
• Develop acquisition strategies leveraging external partnerships that are focused upon key customer segments.
• Develop and present innovative digital plans around key brand initiatives.
• Manage the brand’s presence on partnerships product discovery sites and apps
• Ensure the timely communication of sales, promotions and product releases to our digital marketing agencies.
• Provide customer analysis; segmenting customers, establishing the reporting infrastructure, tracking performance, and presenting the results to the team.
• Develop, formalize, and socialize cross-channel content distribution strategies against respective campaign objectives; optimize tactics in partnership with channel leads
• Steward client messaging and creative coordination across channels by briefing Creative on digital advertising needs
• Develop reporting cadence for all digital and social channels. Present results to key partners and senior executives, including recommendations on how to optimize plans.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7-10+ years of related experience, including substantial experience in Digital Marketing experience for a leading ecommerce or multi-channel retailer
• Prior management experience
• Strong strategic and quantitative skills
• An understanding of technologies supporting impactful digital marketing and social media efforts, including experience with leading reporting tools (Google Analytics)
