EVP, Chief Financial Officer
OVERVIEW:
Manage the organization responsible for the Construction Roll Out Program, for New York & Company. The Vice President is responsible and accountable for developing and implementing processes and procedures and is also responsible for the completion of the entire construction program. The Vice President will also work closely with Real Estate Representatives, EVP of Store Operations, Finance and the COO. The Vice President is also responsible for the maintenance of existing 500 stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directs internal/external project manager, purchasing team, store planners, architects and administrative assistants to achieve departmental goals and the successful completion of the construction program
• Manages all construction projects related to Stores and Brand Headquarters
• Responsible for store planning – interacting with the VP of Visual Merchandising
• Directs the Store Facilities team
• Bids, negotiates and awards construction contracts
• Directs the General Contractor qualification process and performance reviews
• Responsible for managing Capital Expenditures, submits for project funding, issues financial reports for all construction projects
• Ensures collection and maintenance of construction cost date, provides analysis of data
• Directs value engineering efforts to ensure cost reduction goals are obtained
• Directs the efforts of outside consultants for the development of new store designs
• Creates new fixture designs and approves all store signage
• Creates prototypical store designs
• Assures design integrity, workmanship and conformity to the construction documents

Facilities, Construction, Real Estate, Project Management – 4 direct reports
Required Experience:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 15+ years Retail Construction Experience
• Strong Leadership and Management Skills
• Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
• Ability to Travel
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering or related field.
