Working within the Brand Experience team, Brand Insight Manager reports into the Lead Brand Insight Manager and works closely with Managers and Analysts across the wider business.
The Brand Insight Team is responsible for championing a deep understanding of the customer, the brand and the marketplace and ensuring this knowledge is shared broadly across the business to inform and drive strategic decisions. More specifically the team is tasked with successfully shaping and delivering a global brand insight programme that includes:
• Customer Research: Customer Experience Survey; NPS; ASOS Front Row (online research community); customised research projects, and
• Brand Research: Brand Pulse, an international brand tracking programme across key markets
What you'll be doing...
• Responsible for supporting a team which designs, implements and manages a brand insights research programme which seeks to deliver actionable insights, with a focus on implementation of recommendations to the business
• Champion brand and customer insight across the business and demonstrate the value of this function to stakeholders
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external research partners and work with them to deliver continuous and ad hoc research
• Proactively work with insight colleagues across the business to collect information and deliver insight outside of your main projects
• Work collaboratively with all teams within the business but especially Brand Experience, Digital Experience, Customer Care, Retail, Global Trading and Supply Chain
• Actively bring the customer to life through the insight you deliver. Take stakeholders beyond raw data so that the insight becomes real and meaningful
We'd like to meet...
• Professional experience with a track record of international brand insight research for an established research agency or company within the retail or FMCG sector that has an impressive customer insight function
• Strong strategic qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and expertise in a wide variety of research methodologies, with the desire to bridge effectively between quantitative and qualitative
• A good understanding of brand strategy, familiar with brand positioning techniques and implicit research methods
• Experience in using continuous data to build understanding and deliver insights to the business that guide strategy and planning
• Highly personable and approachable with people management experience
• Strong commercial acumen
• Cultural awareness and comfortable in engaging with different markets and cultures
• Credible and convincing communication skills – someone who can share information with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and deliver this in a creative, clear and compelling way
• The ability to work nimbly in a fast-paced environment – able to manage and prioritise competing workloads, with impeccable organisational and time-management skills.
