Purpose
Coordinates all Tactical Supply Planning aspects of assigned Business Units during creation zone and sell and produce zone. Works as liaison between Marketing, Development and Sourcing to ensure product/concept specific requirements are met in accordance with corporate objectives, achieving highest availability for the adidas group.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the tactical planning process for assigned Business Unit to resolve production constraints and ensure on time production start.
• Develop an effective and reliable plan to resolve production constraints and ensure timely delivery of customer orders according to the specific needs of the assigned BU or brand.
• Support of Product Allocation process in creation and Sell & Produce zone in accordance with rough cut capacity plan
• Support coordination of early product confirmation with development/Sourcing to enable level loading.
• Maintain order consolidation in collaboration with BU/Marketing to achieve production efficiency.
• Support facilitation of cross functional critical product review process with key stake holders. Execute clear action plans to address production constraints and minimize impact to availability
• Create and publish relevant product related reports to key stakeholders as assigned.
• Support creation and maintenance of tactical planning related policies, SOP’s and calendars, as well as master data settings.
• Act as trainer/guide for core Tactical supply planning processes and systems as needed.
• FTW specific: handling tooling authorization process to meet demand and ensure utilization of tooling capacity is optimized within agreed budget.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives.
• Strong understanding of demand and supply dynamics SCM terminology and principles, basic finance knowledge
• Advanced MS Office skills (advanced Access) and ability to learn and use internal databases and systems.
• Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at all levels of the organization and to lead discussions in small and larger groups.
• Ability to influence others to build consensus with internal and external partners.
• Ability to manage and participate in complex global and regional projects as assigned.
• Ability to understand and use data to make decisions and influence outcomes.
Qualifications
1. College or university degree with a focus on Logistics preferred; alternatively equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Logistics
2. At least 1 – 2 years’ work experience in the Footwear/ Apparel industry (with a focus on production, materials etc.)
3. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
