Footlocker.com/Eastbay, a leading searching for a dynamic, high-energy candidate to fill an opening for a Lifestyle Production Coordinator. In this role you will book locations for photo shoots, work with modeling agencies to arrange talent, and facilitate special requests for athletes! Our Production Coordinator provides the focus, energy and charisma to ensure all aspects of photo / video shoots are thoroughly planned, organized and on-budget.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Effectively communicate and function as a liaison between the Photo Departments and other areas of Marketing Department to ensure that photo/video production and final results are in-line with marketing goals/vision.
Manages lifestyle planning process including scheduling meetings with appropriate creative personnel to identify goal and purpose of shoot(s) and developing visual plans and Creative Briefs.
Works with Merchandisers and Account Managers to determine products and shot list(s) for shoots.
Acquires samples which includes: following established procedures for inventory transfer, ensuring appropriate sizes are ordered, prepping and packing product and when applicable, placing customization orders to meet deadlines.
Responsible for communication with modeling agencies including selecting, negotiating and selecting talent that is in-line with our athletic target demographic. The Lifestyle Production Associate will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our internal freelance model database.
Attends photo shoots to finalize product prepping, directs and dresses models based on pre-determined visual plans and shot lists, assists photographers/videographers as needed.
Manage Photography/Video related CSR (Creative Service Request) database including assignment, research, coordination and execution of all aspects of the lifestyle/specialty production process. This includes but is not limited to: scouting/booking locations, securing permits, renting equipment, researching and booking models, coordinate a stylist/hair and make-up, ordering, and coordination of travel arrangements for location teams.
Maintains direct communication with Photo Supervisor to ensure all aspects of video/photography is on schedule. Monitors photography production and compares it to the master schedule offering adjustments in production to the Photo Supervisor when needed. Creates and maintains calendars and documents to help track photo/video related projects.
Organizes shoot post-mortems and provides feedback to appropriate personnel.
Assist in the organization, maintenance, and inventory sample storage area and various production materials when needed.
Works with Lifestyle Planner on the monitoring of expenses and budget.
Works on special projects as directed by the Photo Supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A two year degree in Communication or Marketing from a college or technical school with a minimum of one year experience in a related field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations, using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems, involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
