We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our home office located in Houston, TX. This position will be responsible for supporting an innovative omni-channel marketing department. The Marketing Coordinator will work with the Marketing Manager to create on-brand copy, proofread deliverables, assist in the planning & creation of marketing emails, align with promotional & merchandising teams, and support other marketing initiatives in loyalty, SMS, gift cards, and related areas, for both online & in boutiques.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a brand content style guide for all marketing channels.
• Ensure that digital & print assets are both on brand & grammatically correct.
• Produce high-quality & engaging copy for email and seasonal campaigns.
• Build and grow engagement for the email marketing, loyalty, SMS, & gift card programs.
• Update the marketing calendar when change requests are turned in.
• Attend promotional meetings & update disclaimers as needed.
• Partner with Product Content Specialists for specific merchandise requests.
• Forward customer service issues initiated through marketing email autoreply.
• Monitor retail landscape and emerging marketing trends within.
• Analyze email KPIs to determine ROI and other factors for weekly reporting.
• Develop compelling content to drive followers and engagement.
• Research and propose the implementation of new technologies, services, and opportunities to enhance overall marketing strategy.
• Conduct frequent competitive analyses on key competitors with similar target audiences.
• Utilize data findings to make effective marketing strategy recommendations.
• Schedule daily marketing campaigns as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Advertising, or related communications field preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience required, ESP and/or CRM experience a plus.
• Independent, self-starter, and creative decision-maker.
• Superior written and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Knowledge and prior experience in retail and/or marketing industry a plus.
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must.
