The Director, Global eCommerce Product & Project Management is a key leadership position with oversight of the team responsible for defining and analyzing, prioritizing and resourcing new features and functionality for the company’s global eCommerce platform and driving process improvements for how global and regional cross-functional teams interact to best deliver consistent and compelling consumer experiences. This role reports to the VP, eCommerce Technology & Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following but are not limited to:
• Responsible for defining and prioritizing new and innovative features, functions, and experiences within our global ecommerce platform.
• Lead process definition and improvement regarding how we “go-to-market” globally. This includes but is not limited to creative/asset production, translation/localization, and new product introduction.
• Develop and evolve the collaboration with Dev/Ops to best manage the project management process, resource allocation and planning models and inform future prioritization efforts.
• Own key vendor relations for 3rd party functionality such as our core eCommerce platform, ratings & reviews, recommendations, social curation, and the like.
• Foster, develop & optimize the cross-functional interactions between the Regional Business teams, Global Marketing and the Dev/Ops organizations. Take ownership of our efforts to operate effectively & efficiently as it relates to the execution of globally consistent brand stories and customer experiences.
• Management of a team of Product/Project Managers & Analysts for career guidance and continued development and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS

• The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership working in a complex corporate structure and an ability to influence across departmental boundaries to effect positive change
• This individual will have the following knowledge, skills and personal characteristics (required):
• Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred
• Seven+ years in the B2C eCommerce industry
• Global eCommerce platform implementation & operations
• Documented background in all of the following:

◦ Information architecture
◦ Systems integration
◦ Business process engineering
◦ Project management
• Previous exposure to prioritization of resources and management of investment dollars with an ROI focus
• More than a working knowledge of most of the following:
