Overview
The VP Marketing, Creative, leads the Brand aesthetic and creative expression across all marketing vehicles, channels, and regions. With their team, they lead and partner cross-functionally to align aesthetic and creative with design, product messaging in and out of store, annual and seasonal communications, and marketing programs to inspire customers and elevate the Brand image.
Organizational Leadership
• Leads and inspires team of Sr. Directors/Directors to execute the aesthetic, voice and creative expression throughout annual and seasonal campaigns in every customer touch point (packaging, labeling, PR, social, advertising, promotions, direct marketing, online).
• Builds strong cross-functional, global partnerships with Brand marketing, Brand Strategy, Merchandising, Design, Visual Merchandising, Communication, and Store Operations.
• Leads and inspires functional teams to remain; product obsessed, customer-focused, innovative, fast-moving and team-oriented.
• Key member of the Marketing Leadership Team.
• Represents marketing creative team with executives and other business partners.
• Develops and executes global Brand marketing campaignsannually and seasonally across every customer touch point
• Translates data/information into aesthetically aligned, creatively expressed commercial campaigns using cross-functional collaboration and alignment
• Ensuresaesthetic, voice and creative expression of the Brand is adhered to globally within each campaign
• Fosters strong network of collaborative, cross-functional, relationships
• Directs visualaesthetic, brand voice and creative expression of photography and other mediums as a component of the Brand image
• Attracts, leads, develops, and inspires creative talent to create a compelling Brand image
• Creative Retail Strategy Development- deep experience in developing and executing holistic creative strategies and plans in global retail organizations
• Customer Focus- has leveraged consumer insights, competitive knowledge, and brand knowledge to enhance creative expression of a brand
• Innovation- experience creatively expressing brand voice and image in multiple campaigns, crossing multiple channels of communication (stores, ecommerce, social, digital, print)
• Team Leadership- seen as a thought leader with the ability to inspire a creative team to experiment and innovate brand image/aesthetic expression
• Change Leadership– experience leading through significant change & transformation to move an organization forward
• Collaboration–proven ability influencing and making decisions cross-functionally in a matrix environment at all levels
