Purpose & Function Description:
The Corporate Solution Department builds and ensures the implementation of common solutions to connect perspectives, enable greater business insight as well as innovation.
• Enforce E2E process & data harmonization incl. system retrofit and 1 ERP implementation
• Drive OVotT (financial & operational analysis) – ensure growing CLM maturity & BIaaS for markets coming to life
• Blueprint, own and execute end-to-end planning roadmap (process, data model & tools)
• Set foundation & support innovations (eg Big Data)
• Ensure compliance to group process & data, template (incl. keeping it fresh)
In addition Corporate Solutions makes sure that the existing implementations are running smoothly and that possible issues are resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
Function/department specific
The Corporate Solutions Planning – Project Manager position serves Brand and Supply functions in the development of innovative & sustainable planning solutions for demand & financial planning. Thereby we balance business requirement with benefits of process standards, harmonization and system leverage for the adidas Group to build business trusted solutions. The solutions aim to provide forward looking business insight, to connect the planning perspectives and to harmonize the E2E planning process, to simplify & automate planning and to enable prediction.
Overall Relevance for the Organization:
• The position holder plays an integral part within the Corporate Solution Planning – E2E Integration team by making sure that the planning application is implemented within Brand and Supply, users are professionally trained and permanently informed about latest developments within the application, about submission requirements and further process related topics.
• The position holder is supporting the team lead in the development of an E2E planning concept in collaboration with the functional process owners in Brand & Supply with the goal to ensure that the strategic/tactical plans established within the IBP framework are operationally executed. This includes the design of distinct process guidelines how tactical plans translate into operational execution incorporating business processes, data models & system landscape.
Application Implementation
• manage and run the implementation projects for the planning application towards the functions including the training for the application
• conceptualise and prepare professional, winning training material to teach the functions on the designed planning process and the planning tool.
• review the Data Quality to be implemented and align possible required actions in-between the functions and IT Functions.
Coordinator
• be a central contact point for the users to give feedback, raise concerns and coordinate towards the right contact points regarding the issue of the function.
• Connect function needs, the KSR Organisation, the Business Project Team and major HQ Stakeholders that cross-functional needs are transparent and required actions are taken to secure smoothly running processes taking into account the needs of the different functions.
Communication
• communicate in a transparent and winning way the vision, mission of Corporate Solutions Planning (Tactical and Other) and the operative requirements towards the functions and the main HQ stakeholders (Current major forums used: monthly Webex, Monthly Power User Call, Sharepoint, monthly Drumbeat alignment with GP&R and IBP Brands Team)
Project and Programme Administration
• support the creation and the maintenance of a resource and project plan of the Corporate Solutions Market Planning Project Team.
• develop internal communication material as required.
Data & Reporting
• get clarity on the user demand regarding Reporting & Data Structures and feed in the functional demand into the organisation
• professionally plan and perform a testing concept and the testing regarding data consistency as required
Other
• manage projects as assigned for Corporate Solutions Planning Team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Partnering/Communication
◦ Partner with the business within the assigned area of responsibility, i.e. partners with the IBP IT architects workstream leads of the IBP project to understand business prerequisites to drive sustainable system solution; or partner with business users to jointly drive roll-out and tool adoption
◦ Enable fact based decision making by creating transparency, i.e. providing different options for system solutions for the planning tool explaining implications / trade-offs to be considered in terms of functionality, costs and timing.
◦ Manage medium sized projects and/or actively participate in projects; implement results and ensure sustainability of achievements, i.e. drive continuous IBP tool adoption & improvements in line with the agreed IBP roadmap.
◦ Develop and implement adequate and aligned communication packages to present results, recommendations and solutions, i.e. develop communication for global tool users on status quo of implementation, user’s manual and training documents.
• Innovation
◦ Significantly enhance and improve working methods for day-to-day processes and systems, i.e. IBP demand planning tool for Brand and Supply to become the standard planning tool for Business meeting user’s requirements specified in IBP roadmap.
◦ Develop and implement state of the art analytic tools, i.e. drive statistical and predictive analysis methodologies into planning tool roadmap.
• Strategy
◦ Provide input into new processes or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on the department targets.
◦ Works towards the achievement of department targets.
• Analysis/Reporting
◦ Identify improvement potential through variance analysis, derive solutions and facilitate related decisions.
◦ Manage & execute standardized reporting and ad-hoc analysis on project status.
◦ Prepare the provision of solutions and contribute to the facilitation of decisions by structuring/analysing data and deriving the respective recommendations, i.e. provides scenarios and recommendations how planning process refinements and incorporated into the planning tool meeting business requirements while driving global governance for standard solutions.
• Functional Expertise
◦ Provide expertise for assigned functional areas/systems and processes towards team and business partners, i.e. responsible to provide data modelling expertise in regards to KPI and planning dimensions to the planning process.
◦ Take ownership of assigned processes and systems, i.e. responsible for operational demand planning tool for Brand and Supply functionality of SAP IP tool together with service manager within GIT.
◦ Ensure smooth operation of the day to day business by taking on ownership for related actions, handles the business change request process.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1. Relevant university degree
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience
