Specific Responsibilities
The Associate Account Executive - Handbags will be responsible for providing general administrative support for sales team, helping to prepare for appointments, answer customer inquiries via email and phone, working with our computer systems, as well as organizing showrooms and samples.
• Must be computer savvy, self-motivated with high energy, work under tight deadlines, handling emergency requests, and prioritizing tasks.
• External communication to include Assistant Buyers and Buyer level at accounts to obtain and provide information.
• Internal communication with design, production and operations team to exchange information
• Market Appointment Preparation – making appointments, pulling samples, print CADs, registering guests, order meals, etc.
• Manage all samples and upkeep of showroom.
• Purchase order maintenance, and Customer service for accounts.
• Analyze shipping/tracking of delivery flow on a daily basis.
• Support sales team in creating buy plans before market and continually updating them as needed.
• Sample Shipping – preparing packages for buyers and sales executives.
• Composing reports from SAP.
• Independently take the lead on selected smaller accounts.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in Off Price distribution in wholesale Handbag sales.
• Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and familiarity with SAP is a plus.
