As a member of the Video Team and reporting into the Head of Video you will champion every single piece of video output, thinking about creating content that our customers love and thinking creatively about storytelling using new technologies and platforms.
Video is an incredibly powerful communications channel for us to engage with our 20-somethings and along with our social channels, is central to everything we do. We are seeking an accomplished and dependable producer to further strengthen our video production offering, get involved with the creative and technical aspects of video projects, and to help manage the post-production workflow. As the Creative Digital Video Producer you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our video content, across all platforms, working with our team of 5 digital video editors and directors. You’ll work closely with different departments in order to advise on production best practices and manage end to end video production. You will need to work closely with multiple teams within Customer Experience including production, social, editorial and creative. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial by nature, who loves collaboration and who has a passion for working in a fast-paced ever changing environment.
What you'll be doing...
• Overseeing ASOS video production across a range of different formats and platforms
• Working closely with the video and social team as well as wider teams to deliver against brief, objectives and to deadline
• Oversee all aspects of product and social video shoots, which may include commissioning and managing freelancers in the UK and overseas (this could be in the US, Germany, France or Australia), nurturing these relationships and providing feedback to uphold video quality and standard
• Work closely and collaboratively with a variety of team members that includes head of creative, directors, production crews, editors, art directors, and designers
• Ensuring the highest standard of video output across all platforms
• Being the central point of contact for video projects

We'd love to meet, someone with...
• Previous relevant experience
• Deep knowledge and understanding of video production – from creative ideation through to post-production and final delivery
• Familiarity with social video production across Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Live and 360
• Extensive experience in a deadline-driven video production environment, preferably in a creative agency or production company
• Produced branded and video content, including advertising, online and social media
• Sound knowledge of post-production – animation, colour grading, sound mixing etc
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, turning things around under pressure
• Previous fashion, social and / or entertainment experience desirable but not essential
• Stakeholder management
• Solid black book of contacts for locations, crew, post-production support etc
• Experience localising video content for international and global markets is a huge plus

• Comfortable with looking for creative and new ways of video storytelling
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A digital native who understands the kind of content that is widely viewed and shared online
• Sound understanding of post-production elements
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, often under pressure
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead, supervise and execute video projects from concept through delivery
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Managing relationships and work flow with the wider business
