Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Support the Brand Activation Manager Style-EM South, to achieve the short and mid-term objectives for the category and driving the category respective KPIs.
Contribute to brand building and commercial success by addressing the relevant target group efficiently and effectively, through integrated communications channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Creating of calendars, briefings, fact sheets and project lists for the Originals brand activation initiatives to ensure successful execution of respective campaigns.
• Support the budget management for areas of responsibility.
• Development of brand communication schedule with various agencies that effectively and efficiently addresses target audience.
• Support flow across global, regional and local brand communications organisation.
• Daily coordination role with relevant agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze insights of the local and regional media landscape and strengthen local media relations with (vertical & horizontal) media representatives from print, digital and broadcast media representatives.
• Support global Originals PR strategy and plan/ execute the local implementation and optimization of the PR activities in the local market.

• Local: Full Brand Activation team, Media representatives from Print, Digital, Broadcast & PR media, Range Management Specialists, Influential Assets (Customers & Consumers), PR, Sales, Finance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Minimum 2 years Marketing experience and track record
• Industry experience: ideally in street lifestyle/apparel/fashion/footwear
• Exposure: PR, Communications and Brand experience delivering solutions in 360 degree Marketing campaigns
• Project Management, Administrative attention to details, Data analysis, Trend forecasting, Business planning, Decision mapping, Story lining.
• Skills in Communication, Negotiation, Presentation, Relationship management.
• Interpersonal and influencing skills (relationship management, facilitation) and reasonable marketing knowledge and experience.
Consumer and customer-minded brand builder and implementation driven personality.
• Good understanding of South Africa consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
• University degree in Marketing or Communications
• Understanding of youth culture, street lifestyle and fashion market
• Excellent attention to detail
• Digital Communication knowledge would be an advantage
