Brand Specialist, CKU Women's - Fashion Show/Summerlin, NV
POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the CKUW Brand Specialist is to maintain shop standards in the shop door and secondary door and elevate the awareness of CKUW in both mall locations. Includes but not limited to working with Macys on hiring, training and directing IA associates scheduled in the CKUW shop as well as elevating the customer experience when shopping in the CKUW Shop. This role is also expected to work outside of the CKUW Shop bringing brand awareness to the entire store by partnering with other vendors (EX: G-III) and other departments (EX: Juniors, Style Lab, Dresses, CK Women’s SW, personal shoppers, bridal) and holding impromptu product knowledge in the aforementioned areas and during pre-store opening rallies. Finally, outside of the store, this role requires bringing awareness throughout the mall by partnering with retailers not offering IA, identifying emerging trends, building relationships with Mall Management to elevate the CKUW brand through participation in mall events and bringing attention to CKUW Fit Events at Macys.
*Typical work week for this position is TUES - SATURDAY
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
• Completes store operational requirements by maintaining CKUW standards on selling floor with store associates; following up on work results.
• Maintains store staff by involvement in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and directing employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Identifies current and future customer needs/emerging trends by establishing rapport with customers to understand market requirements.
• Establish and maintain relationships within Macys, outside of the IA department, to bring brand awareness to other departments in the store
• Establish and maintain relationships outside of Macys, in the mall and/or community, to bring brand awareness to external shopping base of customers
• Plan, execute and participate in outreach activities including Product Knowledge seminars, Fit Events and impromptu brand awareness activities as opportunities arise
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Possess good organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
• Must be well-groomed.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must have leadership skills.
• Retail sales experience is necessary.
• Must be able to read and comprehend sales reports.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to work well with others to accomplish team goals.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience required, management experience preferred.
Education: High School or technical school completion. Some college preferred.
Skills: Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and E-mail.
