As part of the Product Creation team at Timberland, own the analytical support to the product creation team to inform the seasonal and strategic direction. Focus of the analysis will be on category performance (complexity, productivity, margin, global sell-in, sell-through), seasonal product architecture and other relevant business KPIs. Tools will be developed to enable the Merchandising and Product Managers to drive decision making for milestone meetings and ongoing tracking. Support Leadership Team in specific projects as required.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Focus on providing the best tools for decision and tracking (ie: matrix, complexity, efficiency, flow, adoption rate, profitability, drop rate, revenues evolution etc)
• Work with regions to gather and consolidate monthly SKU/Pattern forecasts. Create related analysis around line complexity and provide data to enable our environmental performance standards reporting both internally and externally. Ensure PLM system is updated with latest financial assumptions that drive key performance indicators (FX rate, freight assumptions, etc.)
• Review and analyze gross margin reports at key seasonal milestones to facilitate conversations with product teams.
• Provide other routine and ad hoc analysis including but not limited to product lifecycle management, seasonal investments, sell-in for all product categories.
• For the relevant part, support/back up Business Planning Manager, assisting with Calendar, Process and systems as needed. Support Monthly operations meeting with needed data and follow up.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or (equivalent)
• Experience: 3 years related experience in Merchandising, Buying, Sales, Product Management in globally present brand organizations
• Languages: Fluent English essential, additional language is a plus
• Skills: Possess proven ability to consolidate, analyze, and interpret large data sets, providing concise/high level insights Driven and highly motivated with a strong attention to accuracy and detail Demonstrated ability to multitask in a deadline situation Proven ability to work effectively within a team Superior analytical/Problem-solving skills Must have strong written and oral communication skills (in English) Excellent computer skills (Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Cognos preferred
