POSITION OVERVIEW: The People and Development (HR) Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting the strategic execution of Human Resources programs. The People and Development Coordinator is also responsible for fostering productive cross-functional relationships with internal/external partners. Teamwork, process, relationship management and effective communication, as well as attention to detail are critical aspects of this role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Talent Management
◦ Provide support during the performance / talent management and salary planning process.
◦ Provide support to the facilitator for learning and development courses to support the annual performance management and development planning process
◦ Manage new hire announcements’ process and logistics
◦ Maintain and update organizational charts
• Employee Engagement
◦ Provide support for the Rewards and Recognition programs
◦ Provide support for all philanthropic and engagement events
◦ Active participant in Employee Engagement Committee
• Employee Communication
◦ Manage employee communication as directed by HR leadership (performance management cycle, employee engagement, general updates and announcements)
• General Support
◦ PowerPoint and Excel document management
◦ Provide basic project management support for HR initiatives
◦ Provide administrative support and assist in managing the calendar, files, phone and appointments for HR leadership
◦ Provide general administrative and office support (i.e. binder making, vacation tracking, travel, office supplies, expense reports)
◦ Manage SAP /paperwork processing
◦ Support the FMLA/LOA process
◦ Handle general inquiries and requests from Home Office organization (payroll, policies, etc.)
◦ Other responsibilities as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree with Human Resources concentration preferred
• 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, SharePoint and familiarity with HRIS systems
• Knowledge of SAP preferred
• Well-developed written and verbal presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, work in high pressure environment
