ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Typo Product Brand Manager, you will be responsible to provide the business with leadership to the product team in order to achieve growth and K.P.I’s and to play an integral role in executing Typo’s DNA & Consistent Product experience across all markets to achieve the Typo and COG global growth plan.
You will develop, nurture and elevate the current businesses by identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities through supporting, strengthening, and motivating the team. You will mitigate risk to profit by streamlining and seeking to finesse existing processes around stock turns, sell through, planned inventory, depth and width of product & markets.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will develop Typo’s brand strategy & annual goals to facilitate growth through Product, Team, Market/Hemisphere Product & growth delivery, Supply Chain, Planning & other cross functional units, to continually engage with the customer & grow the bottom line. You will develop and nurture The Buyers and Planners of your team, along with the VM and Retail relationships to build a profitable, dynamic and efficient platform to accelerate Typo’s growth globally.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated experience working with local and overseas market trends and possess a strong understanding of vertical apparel, consumer goods or lifestyle product industries
• Exceptional negotiation skills within direct and support teams
• Degree qualified in Buying, Merchandising, Business or Retail, with in depth knowledge of Buying, Production, Merchandising and Retail.
• You will have worked at an Executive level in a significant multi brand and multi site global retailer.
• Influential and highly accountable, this role demands an innovative leader with sound commercial judgment, executive presence and strong creative intellect.
