Position Title: Associate Digital Experience Designer, Abercrombie & Fitch Brand
Location: Home Office - New Albany, OH
Position Summary
This opportunity is focused on creating visually enriched and inspiring digital experiences for a global brand. With a focus on innovation and modern design ethos, this collaborative and multi-talented designer will work to take the Abercrombie & Fitch brand to the next level. The perfect creative talent for this position not only has an eye for superior graphic design but should also show an artistic ability with thoughtful and justified design solutions.
Working along-side digital strategists, online merchants, and brand marketing teams, you will rely on user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals—from concept to execution—across many platforms. Finally, the right candidate recognizes the value of connecting the brand experience, from desktop to mobile to stores and has a passion for solving problems, influencing within a cross-functional context, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
• Work with design leads, digital strategists and dev teams on a daily basis to visualize and concept high quality, industry standard, design solutions for the Abercrombie & Fitch digital experience.
• Work with Digital, Brand, Social, and Photo teams to create on-brand seasonal experiences that successfully answer brand initiatives while creating a highly shoppable experience from desktop to mobile.
• Maintain consistent on-brand creative within a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Have strong communication skills to help connect the design team cross-functionally and promote a 360 Marketing approach
• Drive innovation through experimentation
• Ability to present to a larger group while providing clear recaps and takeaways to creative leads
• Bring a strong sense of team-orientated, positive, proactive and project driving skills to the role on a daily basis
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Digital Design experience within a high-paced cross-functional creative environment
• Proficiency in a variety of rapid prototyping and design tools – Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, XHTML.
• Demonstrated track record of working with creative, photography and web development teams within a cross-functional and collaborative environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Must be organized, self-motivated, highly adaptable and have a strong desire to embrace change
