Senior Account Executive
Perry Ellis International, Inc.
Perry Ellis International seeks an Senior Account Executive for its Women's Division.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with major department stores and specialty store accounts
• Meet with retail buyers to present product releases on continuous basis and sell to achieve set budgets for each account.
• Interfaces with buyer for successful order execution.
• Assist in building and developing financial budgets by brand, by account in partnership with the Planning Dept to ensure gross margin goals are achieved.
• Present assortment, door plan recommendations.
• Understanding the chargebacks process of each account and Research and establish action points to reduce them.
• Pre-meeting preparation with those involved to strategize and organize.
• Assist in Sales presentation set up/ follow through including:
• Meeting agendas and meeting recaps that are proactive and results oriented.
• Understand competitor’s strengths and weaknesses.
• Assist in Inventory management – move available items to sell. Make sure sales information is accurate on the system
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors degree in Merchandising, Business or related field
• 5+ years experience in women's apparel sales and/or retail buying
• Must possess excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
• Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage accounts independently
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Google apps
• Advanced knowledge of retail math
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
