Cabela’s has an opportunity for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator in our visual merchandising department. This position is located at our corporate office in Sidney, Nebraska.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Create, manage and execute the production of all Point of Purchase sale signage, Merchandise Lifestyle Collateral, Merchandising Transitioning Retail Event and Promotional material and all retail related sign requests at all retail locations. This position must meet all production deadlines successfully and within Cabela's brand guidelines in order to help support retail sales and raise traffic counts in the retail stores. Responsibilities include vendor contracting, communication and execution of sign packages and managing retail ordering system, including training users.
KEY DUTIES:
Responsible for vendor negotiation for signage budget of 1.6 million. Create and review RFP's for temp. and permanent fixtures. Analyze information received and select contracted vendors. Manages the production of all retail signage and event material at all retail locations to support overall sales and drive traffic into the stores. Also, to ensure that a consistent brand image is communicated to all locations. Coordinate the production of point-of-purchase signage by communicating with retail buyers, signing staff and on-site sign shop employees through an online sign ordering system and corporate database. Event signage is produced by communicating with the marketing group and outside vendors to ensure material is on time and on a budget when it hits the stores. Merchandising transition directives are produced from the direction of the Visual Merchandising Manager. This directive is the bi-annual roll information as well as our merchandising guideline books. Manages the execution of signage packages with retail stores. Provides direction to stores and communicates pertinent information regarding when packs will arrive, who checks it in and how to handle problems. Ensures that all locations are consistent in signing and that the Cabela's brand is upheld. Communicate daily and provide instruction in order to effectively meet ever-changing sales plans at the retail stores. Assign jobs to proper channels in order to meet deadlines and ensure brand consistency. Audit billing against products sent by vendors and manage chargebacks as necessary. Some audits may require travel to stores. Design brand-consistent signage material for all retail locations for sales and marketing events to support sales and increase foot traffic. This position uses a variety of software programs to create concepts and proofs for customers. Responsible for contacting vendors for price quotes on outputting of material in order to get the best quality for the lowest price in a timely matter to meet deadlines. Directs photo shoots for creative jobs as well as contacting modeling agencies for talent. Manage online retail sign ordering system and troubleshoot problems ensuring that systems are running correctly and efficiently. Communicate daily with computer technicians and users on system issues. Also, help in the design of new processes/systems in order to simplify signage production at the retail store level and improve efficiency. conduct training for RACM's regarding the system, how to use, what information to input etc. Traffic coordinator of retail and collateral signage ordered by departments within the company ensuring that projects are completed on time and shipped out to the stores by the deadlines set by the customer. With the implementation of a new online collateral sign ordering system, all creative projects can be assigned and tracked electronically for deadline and billing purposes. Holds weekly production meetings to ensure projects are completed in a timely matter and timelines are adjusted accordingly.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree or equivalent with 2 to 4+ years relevant experience required.
