Responsibilities
Join this thriving team as an Intern in the IS&T department for the summer of 2017! Footlocker.com/Eastbay offers paid internships at the e-commerce corporate headquarters, located in Wausau, Wisconsin. As an Intern you will learn about the retail and eCommerce industry; participating in a collaborative business project, volunteer opportunities, corporate training… and so much more. As a Market Research intern, you will:
• Research and recommend marketing and IT technologies and services (third-party vendor selection.)
• Gain insight into market-place research and analysis on emerging technologies in areas like mobile, personalization, IT infrastructure, merchandising, social, cross-channel marketing and big data.
• Manage projects by conducting research to measure vendors similarly against business requirements and present the analysis to decision makers. Activities may include researching vendors within a marketplace, building the business requirements into a Request for Information (RFI), scheduling and leading meetings, and presenting the final analysis to leadership.
Qualifications
To qualify for an internship with Footlocker.com/Eastbay, individuals must:
• Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2017 graduate.
• Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary.
• Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday-Friday (40 hours/week). Internships begin on June 5, 2017 and end August 18, 2017. Any exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
