POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Account Executive will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic execution for a business within the Fashion Apparel Industry. The Account Executive is a critical member of the Canadian Team and has responsibilities for Seasonal Sales and Replenishment Sales. Additional responsibilities will include demand planning, inventory/supply planning, sales seminars/store visits and Seasonal Selling Events.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategic Planning/Category Vision – Work with the Sales Managers to develop the long-term strategic plan for the business. Lead the strategic planning process for area of responsibility and develop annual business plans, scorecard and budget. Create and communicate business initiatives, direction and vision. Monitor progress toward plans and make adjustments when needed in order to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Work with NYC and Milan team members to further enhance the Canadian business.
• Business/Financial Results – Provide leadership within area of responsibility to achieve targets related to: 1) revenue growth, 2) profitability, and 3) inventory management. Develop and track metrics to improve business results and performance measures.
• Brand Management/Product Merchandising – Ensure proper brand positioning within stores. Utilize past season's sales, product performance data, current marketplace information and trends to define sales strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years wholesale experience in a similar high end related field
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
• Able to speak effectively in interpersonal situations
• Strong independent work ethic, excellent time management skills, and organizational abilities
• College degree preferred
